SBAC PRACTICE TEST:
It is recommended that students visit the SBAC practice test website at http://sbac.portal.airast.org/practice-test/ to explore and practice the new look and format of the state test. You should log in as a guest but be sure to select your grade level. These resources provide opportunities to “try out” the tools within the testing format. The training test reviews the types of tools available and how to use them! You can access these resources up to 99 times, so there are plenty of chances to check everything out. Have your student complete some of the practice tests so that they are aware of the types of questions that will be asked. Click here for test directions. Practice Test Scoring Guides: Please use the Math and ELA scoring guides to go over the questions with your student. The practice test does not give a score at the end of the test or tell you which ones you got wrong. It would be beneficial to use the Scoring Guide as a tool to see how to answer the questions and what type of answers are expected. Preparation is key, and I know that your student will be ready to “Rock The Test” by being prepared. Please let me know if you have any questions in regards to preparing for the test. |
